    Moissanite is a lab-created gemstone made from silicon carbide. It was first discovered in a meteor crater (yes, seriously) and is now grown in labs to perfection. It looks almost identical to a diamond — but with even more sparkle, and without the sky-high price tag.

    How does it compare to a diamond?

    In short: it sparkles more, costs less, and comes guilt-free. Moissanite scores 9.25 on the Mohs scale (diamonds are 10), making it extremely durable for everyday wear. Plus, it has 2.4x the brilliance of a diamond — which means hellooo sparkle.
